Just a quick Hi!

Tuesday, July 6, 2021

Hi there all you lovely humans! How are you? I can just imagine how much you all must miss us. We are just dropping a quick note to let you know we haven't dropped from the face of the earth. Yes, yes - I know in our last post we told you that it's holidays and we will be able to do some more blogging. But I did also tell you that we will be doing a bit of decorating.

Well, our decorating plan turned into a full-scale winter-clean-up along with packing and sorting out books. Our books have never been sorted out this well. Nevermind all those cupboards filled with boxes and bags filled with junk my Mommy has kept for cat knows what reason. But it's all done and sorted out and the big decorating and unpacking can commence within the next couple of days.

We didn't forget about you at all, it's just that my Mommy's workspace has been cluttered and her computer stuffed away where she at least still knows where to find it. Let's not talk about her mind here. It will continue like that for the next day or two, but we should be back online with our weekly posts by Sunday! I hope...  Let's just don't make any promises!

On a positive note - my Mommy will hopefully get her vaccine tomorrow! Please pray and hold thumps that it happens. This is Africa and anything is possible. Your name can be on a list and you won't get it, or vice versa. Always fun and games!

I need to be off now, we still  need to go clear the drawers from my Mommy's desk so that the room can be painted tomorrow. We hope we'll be able to post a few photos by the weekend.

We miss you guys and promise to be back on the blogosphere as soon as we possibly can.

Lots of Love,

  2. Busy busy busy! I need to go through some things and take what I don't need/want anymore to the Salvation Army.

Hopefully you will be able to get the vaccine and not have to wait any longer. I hope you don't have any serious side effects from it. Everyone I know who has gotten the shot already did good, just minor aches etc.

    1. We stood in line for 3 hours today, but luckily it was great fun as we were all together. So I am very glad that it's done!!

I love being busy, it comes with the personality I guess. We'll hopefully find time to get back into a rhythm within the next couple of days.

      Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Hi there Helen! Yes we got it! We stood outside in the cold for 3 hours, but it was great fun as it was about half our staff. So lots of good company.

I love spending time in my house, I just don't always have enough time to do it. I have a very talented friend who luckily also helps a lot.

      Thanks for stopping by Helen!

    1. Hi dear Debbie! I did get my vaccine yes. A few body aches, but otherwise I am good!

Every day I think we are just about done with all that still needs to happen around the house and then something else just pops up or gets delayed. But we'll get there!

  9. Hi, back! Thanks for letting us know all's well at your end (even if a bit hectic). Hope you managed to get your vaccine. I was in pretty bad shape afterwards, so if that's happening to you, please please take rest and take it easy. *Hugs*

    1. Hi Lex! Kind of back yes, will try to get rhythm again this weekend. But what a shocker when I opened my blog again only to realize that Blogger had an update again and all my CANVA graphics are down the drain.

I did get my vaccine and so far so good!!! Will try to rest a bit this weekend yes.

So glad to see you are happy that we are back!!

  11. Fingers crossed that you were able to get your vaccine! And good luck with all that clearing out. I'm sure Elza is a big help! Glad to know you two haven't dropped off the earth.

    1. Hi there Katherine! I did get my vaccine yes. Thank the Good Lord above. Let's just hope it's effective enough. It's really bad here in SA at the moment.

Oh Elza is the biggest help with packing and decorating. Boxes - she has it covered. Wallpaper cut-offs - she gets rid of it in no time for Mommy.

I'm also glad we didn't drop off the earth, but I sometimes wish Blogger wants to....!!

    1. Hi Lindsi! We did a few renovations about 4 years ago and the next stage is up now, that's why I need to sort a couple of rooms and spacing out. But I'm excited for having everything done! Luckily I love it!

Thanks for visiting us and I hope you will have a wonderful weekend.

We love hearing from you and if you talk to me, I'll purr back as soon as possible. Sometimes I take a cat nap and it might take a couple of hours or days, but never fear - the cat always comes back.
