Book Blitz: A Cat's Guide to Bonding with Dragons

Monday, January 4, 2021

Greetings Humans! This is my stop during the book blitz to A Cat's Guide to Bonding with Dragons by Chris Behrsin. There's a bit of rivalry in our household at the moment. Guess I'm becoming a teenager or something. Mommy wants to read her serious, lets-contemplate-life book and I want her to read A Cat's Guide to Bonding with Dragons for me. It's just as good,if not better, to contemplate life over.

This book is a humorous portal fantasy aimed at adult, but suitable for younger generations as well. And for felines of course. Especially for felines. We need more books that speak cat.

A Cat's Guide to Bonding with Dragons is highly entertaining and told from a cat's first person point of view. A cat is whisked away from time and space into a land where he needs to defeat warlocks and learn to become a dragon rider.

This book blitz is organized by Lola's Blog Tours and it runs from 01 - 14 January 2021.

You can find the Tour Schedule linked to Lola's banner above.

Don't miss the tour wide giveaway at the bottom of this post! Believe me, you want this one. But if you can't wait until the tour is over to get your claws into this one, there's good news!

Limited time sale!

For a limited time only, this book will be 99 cents on Amazon.

A Cat’s Guide to Bonding with Dragons (Dragoncat #1)

By: Chris Behrsin

Genre: Humorous Fantasy

Age category: Middle Grade, Young Adult, New Adult to Adult.

Release Date: 28 December, 2020

Blurb: An unlikely duo who might just save the world

Ben must be the hungriest cat ever…

One moment, he was enjoying a breakfast of salmon trimmings in his home in South Wales. The next, he was teleported across time and space onto the cold stone floor of an evil warlock. Locked in through day and night, Ben may have to serve him for a while.

He’ll hate this, especially having to hunt those infernal demon rats when the warlock doesn’t feed him well at all.

Meanwhile, in a distant academy, a dragon is bored out of her mind. Unable to wear a saddle, no human dares mount her. Is there anyone in this land who can ride her into battle against the forces of the evil warlocks? Somehow, she doubts she’ll ever find a suitable bond.

Unless there is another creature with enough dexterity to fulfil that role. One, perhaps, who is currently sprinting right out of a warlock’s front door…

See, now you want to read it. Go grab it on the limited price of 99c .

The best part of all, this is the first book in a series.

  1. Brilliant. This is a lovely post and I just love them covers (I am fickle I know). I hope the author takes note and maybe a beautiful white cat will appear in the next instalment.

    1. Hi Lynn! It's a light, fun read! And it has a cat in. So it's worth the read!

I also hope the author will take note here....

We love hearing from you and if you talk to me, I'll purr back as soon as possible. Sometimes I take a cat nap and it might take a couple of hours or days, but never fear - the cat always comes back.
